Pink Mamma, Paris: The Aroma of Design & Food

Designed by Martin Brudnizki, Pink Mamma is a Parisian restaurant that adores the perfect blend of interiors and a delightful experience of Italian cuisine and drinks.

Pink Mamma Paris

After several catalogs of designs and interiors, I realized that Parisians are most inventive when it comes to planning the interiors. The colors they have are rich and absolutely stunning, which I think can’t be copied, and then they are great for planning their places according to a particular vibe. When it comes to designing the cafes, the most significant thing is creating a good theme and keeping a balance in every single element, in such a way that they all direct you in a single direction. And Parisians have nailed it. From the right cutleries, color coordination, and embellished luxury elements to appropriate furnishings, French cafes are just amazing. Hence, today, in this article, I am going to tell you about the most famous, or should I call it, the most Instagrammable cafe, Pink Mamma, Paris. As you walk through the interiors, all you have is peace of mind with great tranquility. And trust me, once you look through these pictures, there is no way you are missing this place on your next Paris trip.

About the Project: Pink Mamma.

The project dates to the year 2017 of the Big Mamma Group. With the revolutionization of Italian cuisine in Paris, this open cafe is one of the most perfect places to experience an open dining experience amidst nature with modernism with few more options to dine and drink. Pink Mamma (Paris) is the most ambitious project, which is transformed with the help of Martin Brudnizki. Earlier an old hospital, the structure is now a four-story dining fantasyland with four different interiors and vibes. Apart from liberal plants and flowers across every single floor and outside the building, each dining is unique with a vernacular design and impact as if every space consists of a statement.

At the ground level, there is a central bar with mirrors and green-yellow accents, Le Rétro, which serves just the right drink needed for a go. Then, on the first floor, you will find Florentine Osteria with an exposed view of the kitchen so that you can even enjoy chefs making an amazing meal. With orangish-blue accents, a display of pickles, and other accessories, The Bancone is no less than a live kitchen with a fun aroma all over the place. Then, there is the rooftop garden lounge, which has a breathtaking panoramic view of the plants nearby. At the end, there is a moody, No Entry, which is a hidden bar with pink mohair velvet walls, serving fantastic drinks.

Let me take you inside the Pink Mamma and relinquish the mesmerizing interiors of the place.

Walking the Mesmerising Exteriors.

The building covers over 720 square meters, has four storeys, and is located over a three-sided road corner, enjoying the luxury of natural light. From the exterior, it adores the looks of a lush mini forest, which is covered with beautiful creepers, exaggerating the look and making it stand apart from the rest of the buildings nearby. What I love most about the exteriors is the small sitting area on one side and the inventive use of glass for the maximum natural light inside. Further, the color contrasts add a bonus to the look. Once you adore the exteriors of the structure, it is time to move inside.

The Tranquility & Calmness of the Interiors of Pink Mamma, Paris.

1. Unwinding the Retro Vibe: Le Rétro.

As you step inside the gorgeous building, you will be first greeted with a retro-style cafe whose statement is the bar in the middle with a golden counter, stained glasses piled vertically over the top, and a reversed glasses arrangement. The color scheme of Le Rétro is emerald green with forest green and orangish-gold over the dark brown cabin flooring. If I am not missing anything, the seating area around the counter even has colorful tiled flooring, which further fills the space with creativity and timeless beauty. And finally, the chandelier completes the entire look of this space.

What I love most about this place is its seating around this round counter as it engages a delightful aura between the company of people. Let’s now move to the first floor of Pink Mamma, Paris.

2. Appreciating the Portraiture Around the Staircase.

Hey, before we move to the first floor, it is significant for us to appreciate the circular black staircases, which are filled with art, portraiture, and newspaper listings in a well-curated manner as if this is the perfect way to arrange your thrift shopping. There is a perfect view of the greenery through the mirrors, attractive black trimming of these mirrors as well as the railings arranged with every size and kind of art. As you move upwards, let us now first look at the first floor, which features traditional Tuscan-style interiors.

3. A Maximalist Place Through Traditional Tuscan Style: Bancone.

This floor is built with Traditional Tuscan style interiors, focussing on the exquisite culinary skills of the Parisian chef through the live kitchen. One of the things I noticed here is that to bring a homely vibe to this open surrounding the restaurant uses metal shelves to store pickle jars and other kinds of glass bottles. The color scheme of the place remains orangish yellow with blue and warm wood shades alongside multiple color shades through the pickle jars. Furthermore, there is a metallic finish with patterned tiles to create a more lasting impact. What I love most is the kind of normality and comfort in the place, as if the space is not acting as a stranger and has more things to give.

The kitchen acts as an Italian kitchen with all those shiny kitchen utensils, glass jars, sleek metallic touch, and patterned colorful tiles with a careful look of flowers.

4. The Most-Hyped & Worthy Open Cafe: La Griglia (1er étage).

Now, we are here at the most famous and Instagram-able place, La Griglia, which is on the top floor of the Pink Mamma Restaurant. Consisting of skylights, and a mini greenhouse plantation, the La Griglia has a bright color palette with a diversity of elements to fill its interiors. The trattoria combines perfectly the blue and green shades with different patterns on flooring and tapestries. Some of the most adoring features of this space are the inventive use of metallic piping with colorful mosaics, minimal chandeliers, and ceramic assorted designer tableware over the walls with exquisite patterns and colors.

I particularly loved the combination of furnishings separated through the vertical pillar of wildflowers, refreshing the look of the entire area.

5. A Secret Passageway to Finest Bar – No Entry.

Now, as you are done with the fine dining, one door with a No Entry sign over will take you to the finest bar with mesmerizing interiors and exquisite drinks. This secret bar inside Pink Mamma, Paris has dim lights with pink accents and similar shade furnishings. What I love about this space is the use of LED lights over large glass bottles to illuminate the area. There is a freshness in the bar interiors with a twist.
